Hello!
My name is Olga, and I’m the author and creator of this website.
I’ve been studying optical equipment and radio communication for over six years now. This interest began when I worked as a copywriter for online stores specializing in binoculars, telescopes, and walkie-talkies. My product descriptions have appeared on the pages of major retailers across the country. I’ve written about binoculars by Nikon, Bresser, Swarovski, Carl Zeiss, and Canon; telescopes by Celestron, Levenhuk, and SkyWatcher; and radios by Baofeng, Kenwood, Motorola, Hytera, and many others.
Over the years, I’ve created dozens of product descriptions for devices of varying complexity — from basic opera glasses to advanced astronomical telescopes and professional two-way radios. This work required deep immersion in technical specifications, consultations with experts, and practical experience. To my delight, I discovered that I enjoy these tools more and more with every project. Eventually, this passion turned into a personal blog — first at lookforword.net, whose articles became the foundation of this website.
Here, I share materials based on both reliable sources (technical books, Wikipedia, manufacturer specifications) and my own testing and experience. In my personal collection, I have three binoculars, a Levenhuk Skyline 70×900 refractor telescope, and a couple of Baofeng radios — the UV-5R and GT-3TP — which I regularly use in the field.
I write articles not just to inform, but to inspire readers to explore, experiment, and discover the world around them.
You can find my field observations on iNaturalist or connect with me on Facebook.
Thanks for stopping by!
I hope my materials help you better understand the world of optics and communication — and fall in love with it, just as I have.
